Ethical Conduct

ALDORO, a Brazilian company founded in 1976, produces and markets metallic pigments, committed to standards of ethics and sustainability in its relationships with partners, employees, suppliers, competitors, communities and the environment, following the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.

Correct, respectful and honest conduct

  • Respect and comply with Brazilian legislation, in all areas of coverage;
  • Recognize the dignity of people, respect their freedom and privacy;
  • not discriminating against anyone for reasons of race, age, opinion, politics, sex, class association, affiliation to a union, social or economic class, family situation, pregnancy, religion, sexual orientation, disability, illness or nationality;
  • prohibit and denounce all types of harassment inside and outside the company;
  • Do not employ underage workers, treat employees with dignity and respect;
  • comply with laws, regulations and legal orders;
  • Do not disclose confidential information relating to processes, methods, plans and projects;
  • promote fair competition and follow all anti-trust legislation and regulations;
  • Recognize the protection and conservation of the environment as our social commitment, as well as compliance with environmental laws and regulations;
  • Provide and maintain employees a safe and healthy work environment.

Conflict of interest

Aldoro recognizes and respects the right of employees to participate in business and other financial activities outside their work. However, these activities should be lawful and conflict free with their responsibilities as Aldoro’s employees.

Employees should not misuse Aldoro’s resources or influence for their own benefit, nor harm the reputation or good name of the company. Therefore, relationships or activities that may be in conflict, or that seem conflicting, with professional responsibilities or with Aldoro’s interests, should be avoided.

How to report violations

Aldoro expects that any conflicting situation or violation of this ethical conduct will be informed by any interested public directly to the Human Resources Department representative or via e-mail: [email protected].

The confidentiality of the information and the preservation of the identity of the people involved is ensured.
